The IA1230 is an advanced BiCMOS optical signal processor in die form. When connected to IAI’s IA1050 differential photo diode it performs all transceiver and associated analog signal processing in accordance with IRDA SIR (115k) Physical Layer Link Specification, Version 1.4.
