Integration’s IA211x Low Dropout Regulators convert a wide range of input voltages into well-defined smaller voltages with a high degree of efficiency and stability, and with very low noise. As such, the 211x series is ideal for CDMA and GSM cellular handsets, PDAs, wireless toys, and other applications where the power management solution must promote long battery life, and must have minimal impact on receiver sensitivity, transmitter/VCO purity, and transmission signal clarity.

The IA211x Low Dropout Regulators are fabricated using CMOS technology, have an input range from 1.8 to 6V, and deliver a guaranteed 300mA peak output current. The ground current increase at 300mA output is less than 10%. Dropout voltage is a function of current, and the typical dropout voltage is 120mV at 150mA, and the output noise can be as low as 30µVrms with an external capacitor.
