Integration has been involved in 802.15.4 and ZigBee from its inception, and is heavily involved with the standardization and specifications. Because of this Integration achieved the first certified IEEE 802.15.4 solution which is still used by the test labs today. Following this Integration were involved in the definition of ZigBee Compliant Platforms and is one of the leading group of ZigBee compliant platform vendors. Integration maintains its 'expert' status at interoperability test events and provides 'golden' hardware to the ZigBee test labs.

Although Integration has a background of producing ISM radio solutions, we realise ZigBee is a solution rather than silicon. It is the combination of software and hardware that makes a ZigBee certified product. Because of this Integration have developed single chip 802.15.4 baseband, which include the Full Functional MAC layer. We also realise that different applications need different solutions, and because of this we offer a choice of 868/915 and 2.4GHz solutions.

Integration believes in pre-certifying its solutions. All of our products carry the maximum certification available to reduce the effort required by our customers. Every Integration ZigBee solution has been tested for IEEE 802.15.4 compliance and ZigBee Compliant Platform status. Where appropriate we also undergo ZigBee Network Capable testing or ZigBee logo testing.
